Horicon Favorites

Here is a selection of my personal favorites from our fall visits to Horicon Marsh. The snake photo selfie is by my daughter, taken on a day we biked 40 miles around the marsh's perimeter.  The wolly bear caterpillar will someday be an Isabella tiger moth. Under the overhang at the Visitor's Center (closed since March) we found a barn swallow's nest, now empty. The colored orbs were an accident that I really liked! And someone's car seemed to fit right in with the autumn palette. More photos to come soon, as I work on culling and editing a large batch of marsh water photos. All photos: CC BY-NC 4.0
